Attracting Young People to Birdwatching

Birdwatching and the general age of birders hasn’t changed much over the years. Though young people have, in recent years, started to show an interest in birdwatching, the majority of the demographic still consists of seniors.

The Audubon Society is working to attract even more of the younger generation to birdwatching. Marketplace, the nationally syndicated radio program, aired an interesting segment on this topic recently.
